DoubleDividend has established an Advisory Council. The Advisory Council only has an advisory role and no commercial interest in DoubleDividend. The Advisory Council currently consists of three members: Floris Lambrechtsen, Philip Menco and Andreas Reigersman, each with their own specific financial and social background. In addition, Rien van Gendt is involved with DoubleDividend as an advisor. Rien van Gendt has a great deal of experience in linking the mission of foundations to investments.
The Advisory Council of DoubleDividend Management B.V. consists of the following members:
Floris is one of the pioneers of sustainable investment in the Netherlands. He had an advisory role for pension funds and asset managers. After putting sustainability on the map among institutional investors as a consultant at KPMG, he decided in 2007 to established Double Dividend based on the conviction that there are better ways of using capital to benefit society. Floris followed his heart in 2016 and decided to continue his career in education and left DoubleDividend Management as a partner. Since 2017, he has enjoyed teaching at a primary school and also holds several advisory positions. In November 2016, Floris joined the Advisory Council. He is also involved as a shareholder.
After 10 years as CEO of De Eendragt Pensioen and previously positions at various financial institutions, including head of investment strategy at APG and ING, Philip has been active in the pension world since 2014 as a member of investment committees and coach of board members. In addition, Philip spends a lot of time on charity foundations, largely as a volunteer. His investment knowledge and long management experience come in handy there. DoubleDividend’s advisorship fits in nicely with the combination of his professional experience and social involvement.
Andreas has been a consultant in healthcare since 2012 and a director in small-scale healthcare real estate. He is also a supervisor of organizations that focus on increasing social and ecological health in society, for example in healthcare and on country estates. He has a banking past with ING, the Netherlands management of Triodos Bank and the private banking management of Van Lanschot Kempen. For him, DoubleDividend means a philosophy that uses investment expertise to shape the social movement towards sustainability.
Rien van Gendt is advisor of DoubleDividend:
Rien van Gendt
Rien van Gendt has held various management positions in the private sector and the public sector. After his retirement in 2007, he set up “Van Gendt Philanthropy Services”. He is board member of a large number of foundations, NGOs and companies such as the Bernard van Leer Stiftung (Lucerne, Switzerland) and Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (New York) and Jewish Humanitarian Fund (The Hague).
Rien van Gendt fully endorses DoubleDividend’s investment philosophy: connecting investments with the social mission of foundations and others.
